Rubber PrototypingRubber prototyping is one of the vacuum casting processes, from concept to finished parts for your rubber prototype components is just need as little as 5 days. As rubber is a highly elastic polymer material with reversible deformation, its material properties capable of providing particular application with varying chemical exposures, pressures, and temperatures, such as O-ring, gasket, hose, oil seal, protective casing and so on. When you send us your 3D product design, our engineer will re |

Vacuum Casting Process
Step 1. Master Patterns
The master pattern of the final part is made using an additive manufacturing process, They are usually made by CNC machining or 3D plastic printing, Patterns need to be able to withstand temperature to 40°C.
Step 2. Molding
The 3D printed master pattern is encased in liquid silicone to form an accurate mold. This silicone is poured around the master pattern inside of a casting box, When the mold cures, it is cut into distinct halves and the master pattern is removed.
Step 3. Casting Copies
Your choice of casting resins can now be poured into the empty cavity to create a highly accurate copy of the original. It’s even possible to overmold with two or more materials. Silicone molds are typically good for 20 or so copies of the master pattern.
